Scholarships

Through fundraising efforts, the FMA is proud to be able to offer scholarships to the Foxboro Music students to further their musical education. The scholarships fall into two categories – FMA Audition Scholarships and Senior Scholarships.

FMA Audition Scholarships are open to all music students from grades 5 through 11. Students audition before judges, who are Foxborough Public School music educators, either with an instrument or vocally. Typically prizes are awarded for 1st through 4th plus several honorable mentions. Scholarships can be used toward private lessons, SIMC, Jazz Improv, or other outside pre-approved music camps (i.e. South Shore Conservatory Summer Music Workshops). Information regarding auditions is sent out in March and applications are submitted online. See the FMA Audition Scholarships page for more details.

Senior Scholarships are awarded annually to a graduating senior in the music program who will be attending a two or four year college. Applicants are required to answer a short essay question. The application process typically starts in the spring. More information can be found on the Senior Scholarship page.
